2003-04-16 02:39:06一段揮去不的驚悚記憶（二）回想９２１震災＜胡景森口述 施朝祥整理＞ 後母不知所蹤！ 念及八十多歲後母不知如何了？心急如焚，就在凜列寒風中，一片漆黑下，前往位於豐勢路的榮陽診所，去探察後母及老房子的情形。只見房屋早已倒塌，分辨不出原貌，後母也不知所蹤！ 當時街上穿梭人群越來越多，不知何處去覓人，而且，街坊傳來各式各樣的謠言，有人說「石圍牆」橋樑斷裂，也有人說「石岡水壩」崩塌，更有人說鐵路扭曲，還有人說電信通話完全中斷之類．．．．．．．好像，世界末日已經降臨了！再加上，路上救護車來回奔馳，聽了更加劇我的心慌意亂，六神無主，連腳步要往那兒踏出去，都無所適從！ 不旋踵間，人群中又有高喊聲傳出：６．８級餘震又馬上要來了！快到空地集合，不然會被房子壓到！我們三人就跟著流竄人潮，一起奔往東聖宮媽祖廟的廣場避難，頃刻間，人潮就把東聖宮的廣場擠得水泄不通，連戰爭片中的逃難鏡頭也沒這麼誇張！此時東聖宮麥克廣播：對面三樓房子已經到塌，有數人被壓在底下，希望年青力壯人趕快集合，準備出發去搶救傷患！ 在這麼“無助”的夜晚，聽到求助的訊息，我當下那股熱血馬上沸騰起來，希望可以證明自己還有點用處，不會“無助”地到處漂流。無奈，廣播只要求年青力壯者，我已六十歲，被視為心餘力絀，整個人被潑了冷水，立刻感到更沈重的“無助”！恐懼、無助和太多複雜的感覺占滿了整個心靈，直到天亮，都不敢合上眼。在凜列寒風的陪伴下，生平第一次經歷了身體不斷顫抖而捱到天亮的滋味，不過，也因此放下心來。 四嫂被壓在土堆裡！ 天才剛亮，就順著路往河邊道路去，沿途才看清，道路路基裂開足足有二十公分寬，有的路基凸突起來極像波浪般，行車走路險象萬生。遠遠前方走來一群人，其中一人甚覺面熟，仔細一看，原來是表姐，一見面就叫：阿森！阿勤！能看到你們真好，你們有聽到什麼消息嗎？我們三人默默聽著表姐許多顛三倒四的話，大多是東勢本街那間土角厝都倒塌了，又有誰被壓在廢墟內還沒救出來，又有誰往生了．．．．．．等等的噩耗！ 當表姐說到四嫂被壓在土堆裏，我們再也忍耐不住了，拔腿就急奔至曾住了數十年之久的東勢本街去，到現場一看，哇！天啊！整條本街土角厝數十間全部倒塌，我們都傻了！不，該說驚愕地傻了！我們啞啞地站著一動不動，心中不斷的喃喃：怎麼會這樣呢？怎麼會這樣呢？ 不一會兒，七十五歲姑母－一個孤伶伶的老人家，哭喊著四嫂的名字：阿秋～！阿秋～！淒厲哀婉的聲音，到現在還盈繞著我耳旁。老人家不願放棄希望，還要要踏上屋頂要去尋找她的孫女，我見狀趕緊拉住姑母的手，不讓她爬上去。那整個屋頂雖有橫樑撐著，但早已和土角泥土、磚塊、碎瓦礫、交叉橫豎和著，走上去恐怕．．．．。老人家淚流欄杆，堅持要上去找四嫂，我只好一直拉著她不放手，直到四哥出現，才安撫老人家的情緒。 三樓變成二樓！二哥嫂也壓在下面．．．． 侄子阿雄走出來，早已泣不成聲，見到了我，就嚎啕大哭！。哽咽間說道：阿叔！我爸爸、媽媽都還壓在下面．．．．沒說完又哭得幾乎肝腸寸斷，哭得我也淚如雨下！勉強地安慰侄子，含淚離去，火速趕回四哥住處，如實以告，只惹得四哥悲傷不已！ 此時已有多名親戚來到現場，用盡各種方法搬動橫樑，沒工具的，就徒手挖掘，只希望能把四嫂救出來。終究，大家累了，困乏了，再也動不了，只能含著淚接受這個難以接受的事實。隔壁皮革店老板還說：昨天下午三點多，還親自拿礦泉水給她喝呢！怎麼可能．．．就這樣往生了！ 一夜之間，奪走我家這麼多的至親好友，縱是鐵漢也是難忍，若不恨蒼天，該怨誰呢？ 迴響
