一段揮不去的驚悚記憶（三）

東勢本街宛如死域！

天大亮後，原本記憶中，一整排連棟而繁華熱鬧的東勢本街，如今殘牆、招牌、電線橫臥著，旁邊還有人說：對面本街以前開旅社的那棟倒塌，裡面住有十九人全部罹難．．．．越聽越悲涼！在地震後有一段很長的日子，每到了夜晚，本街不見任何人跡，大家都不敢走出來！整個本街就像是個死域，空氣瀰漫著屍臭味，所以，沒有人想要接近。

之後，我們只好先回租屋處再做打算，回程路上，一直聽到空中嗡嗡地巨響，是直昇機在載運傷患至台中急救，當時鎮內所有醫院均客滿，早已無法容納各處湧進的傷患，而且，許多重傷者因來不及急救而死在醫院，一具具男女老幼的屍體，有的用被子裹著，有的用白布蓋住，家屬淚流滿面，不是悲坐一旁，便是眼神空洞！

回到住處，才發現早已沒水、沒電了，忙了十多個小時，雖未感到飢餓，但卻乾渴難受！就在茫然不知所措時，幸好住對面製造鐵水塔桶的老板娘呼喚我們，過去她那兒吃泡麵止飢、止渴一下，對這適時而來的慈悲，真是感激不盡，馬上就狼吞虎嚥，吃個精光，雖飢意未消，但也不好意思再開口了。對曾慶琳夫婦的伸出援手，讓我強烈感受到，什麼叫“遠親不如近鄰”！

以天為帳，大地為床！

由於租賃的房子是半倒，已經不能再居住，所以，只好到東聖宮廣場，以天為帳，大地為床，蓆地而睡了三天。每天半夜醒來時，全身都是露水，一把老骨頭都快散了，更加心疼的是，患有腎臟病的老婆還要吃這種苦！

還好，東勢化基廠內搭起了帳蓬以收容921災民，我便馬上帶著老婆去報到。雖然，當「帳蓬族」總比在東聖宮廣場的「露天族」好了許多，但遇上下雨天，泥土濕黏，也不好受。

中秋節在帳蓬中落淚！

中秋節那晚，大家排隊去領柚子，阿兵哥遞給我一顆柚子，順便祝福說：祝你中秋節快樂！內心真是百感交集，馬上禮貌性的回答：謝謝！回到帳蓬區，不知怎地，眼淚不聽指揮一直掉下來！在一夜間，失去了那麼多的親人好友，心想若不是這場大地震，害得大家流離失所，以帳蓬為家的話，那麼，現在應該是和快快樂樂地在烤肉，歡聚一堂，喜樂融融的景象……

煎熬數日後，妹婿來告知，兄嫂們的靈柩都暫放在東勢大雪山林場的廢棄大空屋內，便一起去祭拜。一到東勢大雪山林場臨時停屍場，屍體一字排開，滿地皆是，場景無以形容！很多屍體均蓋上白布，還等候著檢察官前來逐一驗屍，方可入殮。走到盡頭，一看有三具棺木並排，棺前神牌香案寫著二哥、二嫂、四嫂的名字，我一時心血噴湧上來，哭得聲嘶力竭，內人跟著陪泣！

天地不仁，以萬物為芻狗！政府無義，以百姓為芻狗！

一個多月後，遷入高雄市友誼村組合屋，這時候的心情比起「帳蓬族」生活可有天壤之別，說真的，這要感激來自高雄市民的愛心，出錢出力，幫東勢鎮的災民搭建高雄友誼村組合屋。

好不容易才有個安身之所，本以為漂泊的生命可稍獲安頓，以尋機重建新生活，然而，地震無情，政府卻更無義，在「消滅災民，粉飾太平」的強暴政策下，壓迫組合屋居民要再回到地震初期的流離失所，隨時都處於要被斷水斷電與強制驅趕的夢魘中！

同是住在友誼村組合屋的居民徐壬癸，在強制驅趕的過程中便服藥自殺，用死來對政府強暴政策進行最無言也最激烈的控訴！在搭建組合屋時，政府沒有出什麼力，但是，對於人饑己饑的愛心所匯聚而成的組合屋，政府卻拆除得不遺餘力，天啊！這是什麼政府呢？

我們是尚未從地震陰影走出來的驚弓之鳥，沒有力氣去清算政府救人不力、重建無能的罪責，沒想到，卻還要遭受「人禍」體制的再三欺壓折磨！除非勇敢不懈地挺身而出去陳情去抗爭，否則，無以保障自己最低限度的生存權與居住權！

這真的是：天地不仁，以萬物為芻狗！政府無義，以百姓為芻狗！（完）
