2003-05-06 21:29:46沒人知道，伊為什麼走這條路！□編按：這是＜蜂報＞之＜重唱農村曲＞版的讀者投稿，作者署名草月。 阿枝嬸，七十六歲，勤奮地上山下水，只要有人叫，她就跟著「茶班」上鹿谷（南投縣鹿谷鄉是台灣產茶重地）小半天去採茶。住在濁水溪畔的她，還有一分多地在河邊，說起來，是完全賺嘸錢啊！
阿枝嬸的尪婿，十多年前開刀後，粗重的活兒就沒辦法做！而兒子呢，在外呷頭路，曾在中部第二高速公路工地當工地主任，不過，完工後，中部沒什麼營建工程，現在也在找頭路！ 阿枝嬸是很伶俐的人，最不喜歡說人是非，也不喜歡人家說她是非！有一件大事，伊放在心上七十多年，還好，在二年前解決了！是什麼大事呢？ 阿枝嬸生了五個女兒，一個兒子；伊的媳婦娶進門十二年，生了三個女兒，老大十一歲、老三七歲，就不肯再生了！阿枝嬸想來實在不願：歸世人，不曾歹失德！是按怎要生大孫來抱，煞攏嘸！ 還好，老天還是長眼睛，伊的兒子總算說服媳婦，勉強再生一個看看！好家在，第四個嬰仔，是生來捧米斗！看著男孫出世，阿枝嬸歡天喜地，儘管媳婦以照顧男孫為由，三餐不煮，衣褲不洗，阿枝嬸也是全部攬下來一肩挑！外面有農活，裡頭有家務，做得一把老骨頭酸痛不已，眼睛茫霧，但為了傳宗接代的男金孫，委屈與勞苦都往肚裡吞！ 不過，阿枝嬸仍將心事藏在心底，兒子生說待在厝內找沒頭路，想要去桃園找朋友引介，豈料，媳婦也想跟去，兒子不肯：全家伙啊去桃園，找無頭路就先餓死！媳婦堅持不要一個人留在家裡：你放四個孩子、兩個老的在家裡，不是細漢，就是病，給我拖！我怎麼過日子！ 兒子與媳婦整天就為這件事爭吵，阿枝嬸和老公聽在耳裡，紛亂於腦，真不知如何是好！有時想想，乾脆雙腳伸直，一同向西天報到，這些話都免聽，豈不快活多了！ 阿枝嬸想起少年時，阿枝嬸的日子再艱苦，也是忍耐就過了，像兒子媳婦這樣爭吵不休，只會愈爭吵愈失志，愈爭吵愈讓日子艱苦！ 阿枝嬸大女兒也已五十多歲，兒子去年結婚，上次阿枝嬸的大女兒一家人回娘家來，阿枝嬸的尪（丈夫）就很委婉地埋怨，如果大女兒是兒子，現在已是娶孫媳婦啊！阿枝嬸知道：我尪總是怨嘆我沒多生幾個兒子！ 只是阿枝嬸並非自覺到，丈夫「重男輕女」的父權思想所對她產生的埋怨，她卻複製到兒子與媳婦身上了！這也反應出，雖然，台灣兩性平權的觀念已蔚為主流，變成了「政治正確」的口號，但是，在農村裡，卻仍是根深蒂箇的古老傳統，只不過不像封建時代那麼具有壓迫性罷了！ 這日，下午四點多，阿枝嬸挽菜回來，想要下廚做晚飯。還未入門，就聽見兒子與媳婦又爭吵起來。媳婦說：你要我生，就要養得起，奶粉、尿片那一樣免錢？！阿枝嬸正要上前勸和，那料到，兒子卻先衝出了一句怒吼：攏是你要生的！ 阿枝嬸強忍住奪眶而出的淚，趕緊走去灶腳，日子再艱苦，飯還是要吃！一邊煮食一邊怨嘆：歸世人，不曾歹失德！是按怎後生、大孫都有啊，還是不能快活！這款日子實在是過不下去了！ 五點多了，把飯菜煮好，阿枝嬸悄然進到臥房，從枕頭內摸出十一張千元鈔，這些錢，是她存了好幾年的私房錢，現在用得上了！她，安安靜靜地，往邊間踱去！ 當兒子發現阿枝嬸的時候，她，已經與世長辭了！而手頭卻還緊緊握著，那一萬一千元，而這剛剛好是給她兒生、媳婦、女兒、內孫等十一個人的“手尾錢錢”！ 沒人知道，伊為什麼走這條路！ 由 發表於 May 6, 2003 09:29 PM | 引用迴響
