從新人到新社會（二）

這裡是什麼地方？怎麼一片漆黑？現在是什麼狀況？我怎麼會在這裡呢．．．．唉，怎麼會這麼累呢！好像全身都散掉了一樣地躺在這裡，以前從來沒有這樣累過，唯一接近的一次，大概是之前去農村的時候吧！

以前，我從來不知道，農業耕作是如此粗重勞累。那幾天，我們忙著插秧，在烈陽下從早忙到晚，一整天下來，我全身骨頭都已吱吱作響，酸疼得難以形容，連晚飯沒吃就昏睡過去了！可是，其他人還嘲笑我動作太慢，老是落後他們十幾公尺遠呢！

不過，那是勞動後的疲倦，而現在的感覺卻不大一樣，是很沉重的、不愉快的，我不喜歡這樣，好像，過去所有惱人的事情全都回來報仇似的，這麼累．．．．那些事情．．．

怎麼還是一片漆黑？這種黑，叫人真不舒服！嗯－那邊好像有一點亮光．．．不曉得，看不清楚，有點熟悉的感覺，過去的事．．．啊，是我的家人嗎？媽媽、哥哥，是你們嗎？

唉，你們看到我會說什麼呢？還要再吵一次嗎？每次回家，你們總是罵我，要我別再管那麼多「別人的」事情了，說我一個女生，這樣在外面跑來跑去不好，叫我念完師範學院就去當老師，工作穩定，找個人結婚，生小孩，照顧家裡。你們就是要我當個順從的女人，安份守己地待在家裡，根本不承認我有選擇、決定的能力，這是封建的那一套呀！還說什麼我唸書太多才會作怪呢！

我知道你們擔心我，可是從我懂事開始，你們就處處限制我，不准做這、不准做那，連我跟同學出去逛街，你們都要出來街上把我抓回去！

上了大學之後，我參加劇團，就是希望能擺脫你們給我設下的種種的限制，學著自己獨立。那種學習才快樂呢！透過劇團，我接觸到各種社會議題，後來，還參加學生議會選舉，意外打敗對手，高票當選。

嘻，其實當時我什麼都不懂呢！這種選舉，端靠候選人的個人魅力，而不是頭腦有無思想，能否提出什麼政見，不過，這是我後來更深入地參與學生運動組織之後，才逐漸領悟的，更重要的是，也因此，我慢慢了解了菲律賓社會的實況，也親自和工人、農民接觸，體驗了他（或她）們所遭受的壓迫。

唉，你們知道嗎？菲律賓的工人、農民真是悲慘呢！我去的那個農村，土地所有權都被大地主壟斷，農民都是佃農，再怎麼勤奮耕作，拼死拼活，農作的收成全被地主榨取豪奪，自己都吃不飽呢！若稍有不滿想要反抗，地主們甚至就派出其所豢養的私人軍隊予以鎮壓！

另外，我也去過好幾座工廠，有生產汽車零件的、也有製造裝飾品的。他們辛苦勞動所創造的產生真是精美，可以外銷到全世界，但是，利潤卻全進了跨國財團資方的口袋，而支付工人的薪水極其微薄！

菲律賓政府表示，一個家庭每天要賺取500比索才足以供養生活所需，然而，工人們的勞動報酬只有150到200比索，甚至，若採論件計酬的制度，工頭不滿意，你白做幾天工卻一毛錢也拿不到！而且，大部分都是短期契約工，每天都得擔心，明天有沒有頭路？

你去他們居住的社區看看就清楚了！沒水、沒電，所謂住宅，是用撿來木板、竹子搭造而成，如果下雨，則是外面下大雨，家裡下小雨。更別說小孩的教育了，他們連制服、課本都買不起呢！幾千個人的工人社區，全是一個樣！

媽媽，你知道嗎？我第一次知道這些事情的時候，好難過好難過，忍不住一直哭呢！那時，我才感到，我們的社會真是病了，而且，病入膏肓！菲律賓是兩個世界，一邊是一小撮人有錢有勢、為所欲為、窮奢極侈，別一邊是像垃圾一樣被拋棄、被踐踏的人們。怎麼會這樣呢？怎麼可以這樣呢？這個社會不能再這樣下去了！

唉，可是我親愛的媽媽、哥哥呀，你們怎麼就是叫我往「自私」的路上走呢？任我怎麼對你們解釋，你們就是不擇手段地要阻止我！我是多麼愛你們啊！可是你們卻給了我那麼大的痛苦．．．．

那天，我從大學放假回家，本想跟你們好好聊聊的，可是你們就是不肯聽我說，連吵了幾天，最後還讓哥哥動手打我．．．．他那麼高大，那麼兇狠地打我，像是要把我殺掉．．．．那是真正的恐怖，你們知道那種感覺嗎？不，你們不懂的，如果你們懂，就不會那麼做了吧？那時候，我真的以為，我會這樣被自己的哥哥殺掉呢！那是真正的恐怖．．．．．（明日待續）
