孩子母親笑著對我說：「他小名叫瑞德（red紅色），你瞧，他很有戰鬥性呢！」在菲律賓的各種社會運動場合，不論是在場抗爭現場、勞工教育課堂還是文藝晚會，你都看得到這些小孩的蹤影。還是小毛頭一樣的他／她們，就在現場有模有樣地發傳單、拉布條，甚至才國小的年紀，就能上台演講、帶口號，絲毫不比大人遜色呢！ 可別以為這些小孩只是父母的跟班喔！他／她們也有自己的組織，有自己固定的讀書會，和組織能力訓練課程；此外，他／她們還有組織其他小孩的任務呢！小孩的組織也有各式各樣，有政治受難者的小孩的，有都市貧民的小孩的，有工會成員的小孩的…等等，工作內容隨對象性質不同而調整，但整體來說，仍以社會運動組織工作者的小孩為多。 不同年齡層的小孩，當然也有不同的學習特性與需求，例如，對較幼小的教育課程要簡化，也要處理他／她們年齡所會遇到的成長問題。大約到了中學以上，基本上就跟一般大學裡的學生運動組織沒兩樣了，一樣要在校內發起讀書會、討論政治社會議題，到罷工現場與工人一同工作，參加工會勞工教育等等。 顯然，小孩們所接受的教育有兩種，一種是跟一般小孩一樣的體制內教育，另一種是體制外的教育，所以，讀者千萬不要本能的反感：怎可讓無辜的小孩為了大人們的社會運動而犧牲了「正常」教育與學業？ 一個身為人父的社會運動組織工作者告訴我，他／她們帶小孩去抗爭現場時，資方與政府官員常會批評他／她們，不該把「天真無邪」的小孩捲入成人的「利益鬥爭」？！ 這些資方與政府官員裝得一副很「照顧」小孩的樣子，「可是，正是他們這些人製造了廣大菲律賓人民的極端貧困，逼使父母失業，讓無數的小孩挨餓受苦啊！菲律賓小孩，從來就沒有置身事外，無法免於貧困，一直在受苦，始終受到這個體制的殘酷壓迫！」他說，「既然這樣，受到壓迫的就要反抗啊！受壓迫的工人要抗爭，為什麼受壓迫的小孩不可以呢？這些製造壓迫的人，還千方百計地希望被壓迫的人不要反抗，豈有此理！？」 由 發表於 June 25, 2003 11:23 PM | 引用迴響
