月光下，我們慢舞在七星潭…（下）

如果真的有所謂的「台北經驗」，那在我們的眼中不過是把一堆水泥堆砌出來的龐然巨獸，一個住慣花蓮的人，到了台北就好像被關進獸籠一樣難受，難以想像，好端端的人為什麼可以把環境弄得那樣擁擠凌亂，花蓮人習慣了大山大海，請別叫他／她們去跟你們擠淡水的漁人碼頭，太小家子氣了，花蓮人每天朝前方看就是一望無際的太平洋，轉頭一望中央山脈屏風似的從平原中竄起，看看「西部經驗」吧！工業發展破壞了環境，四處移山填海的創造新的工業區，造福了財團，失業的人數卻不斷上升，我們拒絕「西部經驗」！

今夜一群住在花蓮的外國朋友們自願前來海灘，用行動表達對這樣活動的支持，其中火花樂團的團長吉他手文道（道格拉斯）是位美國人，來台灣已經六年，因為喜歡花蓮的自然，所以離開陽明山上的住家，定居在東台灣，火花樂團不同於一般的樂團，他們的節拍是以低音鼓和手鼓做出，更為低沈、更富有渾厚的生命力！

晚上來的外國人不少，其中加拿大的黑人朋友黎安，是位英文老師，平時從事環保運動，目前是美國珊瑚礁重建組織的台灣負責人，黎安在現場這樣問我們，她說：「台灣人為什麼不站起來！這是你們的土地，你們應該站起來守護她！把環境都破壞光了是不會有經濟可言的！」

現場外國人發言十分踴躍，而台灣人多半沈默的坐在一旁，偶而「貢獻」零星的掌聲，對於公共事務，台灣人的教育還停留在威權時代，私底下意見很多，一旦要在公共場合發言，就通通吞在肚子裡不敢講出來，令人高興的是，花蓮一群剛考上大學年輕朋友們的發言，展現了年輕一代對於故鄉的關心，年輕人的站出來或許是一個契機，這片大山大海得以存留的希望！

更讓人感動的是一位大約五歲的外國小朋友塞巴斯丁上台的發言，他拿著麥克風告訴我們一個故事：「一個人從沙灘拿走一塊石頭，沙灘不會怎樣，但是，如果每個人都拿走一塊，沙灘就會不見！」

在他身上，我們看到生命的熱情和希望，五歲的他如此深信這件故事，而這故事是每個大人都知道的事情，知道歸知道，我們依舊帶走海灘上的石塊，以及自然的一切，或許有人會問，你！外國人有什麼權利管我們台灣的事！親愛的朋友，讓我們這樣告訴你，我們對這片土地的愛不見得比這些國外的朋友多，我們只是剛好的生在台灣這塊土地上，對於自然沒有人可以說自己擁有支配的權力，身為地球的一部份，對於生態的破壞，都是對整個地球的傷害！

夜色逐漸深沈，亙古以來，面對這片海，面對著這片山，有多少生命在此駐留過，望著灑落一席銀色月光的海面，迎接無數東昇的旭日，悠悠天地，何其有亟！日升日落，立霧溪切割出來的壯麗峽谷，美崙溪沖積出來的肥沃谷地，這裡是原住民族的聖地，他們在陽光下追逐著飛魚，在月色下高歌歡唱，在阿美族朋友阿道的歌聲中，我們用自己的生命當作祭品，獻給今晚的月亮與海洋，鯨魚在遠方歌唱，我們用歌聲和熱情澆灌這片倍受蹂躪的土地！以水代酒！慢舞在今夜的七星潭，沈醉在這令人感動的一刻。（完）
