系列活動
＜中華民國工作傷害受害人協會＞連續多年舉辦【全國工殤春祭】活動，因而引發台灣社會對職業災害問題的重視，並透過佛教法會、天主教彌撒等儀式，以肯定工殤亡者（即職業災害罹難者）的貢獻，並撫慰工殤家屬的傷痛。
今年，除了與人權攝影師何經泰先生共同以攝影展、出書等方式呈現工殤文化，並廣邀國際勞工團體、台灣各工會共同討論「過勞症」問題，於４月２８日國際工殤日當天，進行國際連線的燭光遊行，以訴求政府與雇主保障勞動者享有安全而尊嚴的工作環境。以下是４月２８日國際工殤日的系列活動：

認識＜中華民國工作傷害受害人協會＞－簡稱工傷協會
主旨：集結職災工人，爭取勞動權益！
精神：人比物更重要，勞動比資本更有優先權！
成立：
工傷協會成立於１９９２年，由工傷者、職業病患者、工殤亡者家屬集結而成，自助助人，提供義務的法律、心理、就業、學習等第一線服務，每年受理逾３０００人次的工傷案件。建立國內唯一的工殤支持連絡網，互相陪伴走過傷痛，並長期與醫院、工會、學校合作推動勞工安全教育，組織工人文化的紀錄與發展，且以草根立法進行勞動制度改革。
重大成績單：
＊與＜工人立法行動委員會＞合作八年，推動完成「職業災害勞工保護法」立法與實施，成為台灣第一部由工人提案而官方跟進的勞動法令。
＊推動建立工殤碑，並在「職業災害勞工保護法」明訂每年４月２８日為工殤日，使台灣成為全世界第五個明定４月２８日為工殤日的國家，並且每年與世界１６５個國家共同舉行４２８國際連線行動。
＊每年暑期成立“青少年打工熱線”，持續校園勞動教育宣導逾１００場次。
＊輔導成立＜台北捷運潛水夫症工人聯盟＞、＜泰緬地區孤軍後裔自救會＞、＜花蓮一號失蹤船員家屬聯誼會＞與＜ＲＣＡ員工職業性癌症自救會＞等勞動者權益組織，並協助發動系列抗爭行動，以爭取制度性改革。
＊累積工殤文化，出版“職災工人口述故事集”，發表系列工殤攝影展，並協助工傷勞工與工殤家屬組成＜工殤畫會＞，舉辦台灣首次工人美術展“木棉花開了”。
＊發動抗爭獲得＜行政院勞工委員會＞擴大勞保職業病給付，及各地方政府開辦職業災害訴訟補助。
＊連續五年舉行「」工殤春祭」活動，成立＜全國工殤紀念碑籌建委員會＞。
【木棉花是４２８工殤日的象徵】
如果每個職災地點，都能種一株木棉樹．．．．
木棉樹又名英雄樹，木棉花鮮血般的意像彷如工殤血淚，花落後成就了新葉，如此生生不息，與棉絮製衣保暖的歷程，更直指經濟奇蹟背後的「無名英雄」就是，數十萬工作傷亡的勞工！
木棉花ｌｏｇｏ是台灣工殤的象徵，每年４２８國際工殤日都會以木棉花行動與全世界其他勞工團體展開國際連線行動，追悼工殤者，保護勞動者。
